The Door lock "Penny" fix

 I decided not to pay a huge ransom for a
replacement part and used a US penny
instead.
I drew an outline of the shape I
 needed		 I nibbled out one side of the nylon
ring with a pair of side cutters.
To the grinder with the penny! First trial fitting
Final trial fitting drilling hole into lip of ground penny
used a screw as lever used solder gun to bend over the nylon lip
not shown: I also epoxied the whole surface
the final result.
